Special Seminar
Abstract:
Timm Schroeder applies live cell imaging and clonal tracking to mechanisms of cellular decision-making in multipotent cells. The approach has allowed his team to provide definitive answers to long-standing and controversial issues. His recent work illustrates in dramatic fashion how widely accepted notions of mechanism based on population measurements can prove wrong at the level of individual cells.
