Abstract: 
Dr. Vito Mennella will discuss how his laboratory leverages super-resolution imaging and data analysis methods for the analysis of supramolecular assemblies in cells. His research program has been focusing on organelles, such as cilia and centrosomes, whose function is responsible for inherited lung diseases and microcephaly, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Biochemistry Department at University of Toronto and Research Scientist at the Hospital for Sick Children.
