Abstract:
Dr. Milosevic is a clinician scientist and the Director of Research and Quality, Radiation Medicine Program, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and University Health Network. He is a Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto, a past-President of the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO) and the Chair of the Canadian Partnership for Quality in Radiotherapy (CPQR). Dr. Milosevic’s main clinical interest is in the management of gynecologic cancers. His research involves the influence of hypoxia and other aspects of the tumor microenvironment on radiation treatment response, new molecular therapeutics, and the application of adaptive, image- guided external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy.
