Invited Speaker Seminar
Abstract:
With the arrival of vaccines and expected seasonal declines in transmission, we are at a critical point in the COVID-19 pandemic. In the coming months, we have the potential to dramatically reduce transmission and possibly push for local elimination. In this talk I’ll review what communicable disease epidemiology and mathematical modeling tell us about the possible trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic and what we might expect to see over the coming year.
