Abstract: 
This symposium will bring together international leaders, outstanding faculty, and trainees affiliated with The Hospital for Sick Children and University of Toronto Physiology Department to engage in a retrospective review and prospective outlook of the key areas of neural plasticity ranging from fundamental mechanisms of neurodevelopment, synaptic transmission and plasticity, learning and memory, pain to translational research on neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. *This is a 2-day event running Friday August 3rd from 9am - 6pm and Saturday August 4th 9am -12:30pm.
